Gonçalo Delgado signs for Basketball Girona 2021/22

The Portuguese pivot comes from Zentro Basket Madrid

Gonçalo Pereira Delgado (Almada, 1998) is Basketball Girona’s eighth signing for the 2021/22 season. The Portuguese pivot (204 cm) will make his debut in the LEB Gold after debuting in state basketball in the ranks of Zentro Basket Madrid (LEB Plata). The club’s new player is an absolute international with his country’s selection.

Delgado, who completed his training at SL Benfica, competed in the Portuguese first division with the Lisbon club (2017-2020), where he also played a few minutes in the Basketball Champions League, before moving to Zentro Basketball Madrid
