The senior will play the second Catalan derby as a local against CB Pardinyes

Básquet Girona will play this Saturday the ninth day of the league against Ilerdauto Nissan Pardinyes Lleida (19:00). The match against the team from Lleida will be the first of two consecutive home games against Catalan teams, the next one against CB Prat. The senior and Pardinyes met for the first time in the semi-final of the Catalan League, with Girona losing.

This year, Ilerdauto Nissan Pardinyes Lleida competes in the first season of its history in LEB Plata. The management of the team from Lleida has given continuity to the coach who was part of the milestone, Gerard Encuentra, and has added important pieces to the gear. Marc Rubin de Celis, giving judgment from the direction, and Wendell Davis JR, giving offensive personality to the team, are the main faces. Pardinyes is tenth in the table with two wins, both achieved as visitors, and six defeats. It is the second most aggressive team in the competition (21’5) and the second that loses the fewest balls (11), behind the senior team (10’5).
