FC Barcelona and B\u00e0squet Girona faced each other today, located in very distant positions in the standings: Bar\u00e7a, leader with 5 victories, prevailed thanks to their accuracy and defensive solidity.<\/p>\n

The match started with a score of 0-6. The Girona players set the pace and intensity at the start, knowing how to hold the momentum for the first 8 minutes. From that moment on, Bar\u00e7a reacted, with a great partial, to be ahead on the scoreboard at the end of the first quarter (23-19).<\/p>\n

Blaugrana’s dominance increased in the second period: the locals knew how to run more and better and found success from practically all areas of attack, achieving a maximum advantage of +15. The second half started with a score of 50-38, and had a very similar tonic, only broken by a good half that put A\u00edto’s men under the 10-point barrier.<\/p>\n

In the last minutes of the third quarter, Bar\u00e7a again found all their success to break the game and decide the derby in their corner, but the reds managed to get involved again, competing until the last moment. In the end, 72-69.<\/p>\n

This next week the competition will stop to make way for the FIBA \u200b\u200bwindow. The next B\u00e0squet Girona match will be on Saturday, November 19, against Gran Canaria, in Fontajau.<\/p>\n
