Girona Basketball<\/strong> and Frit Ravich are joining forces to launch the \n “Feeding Your English with Frit Ravich”<\/em>\n<\/strong> program, an initiative designed to improve the English skills of players from the U15 to U18 teams. This program, which was launched last October, will run until April with the aim of involving around 120 boys and girls. <\/p>\n\n

\n “Feeding Your English with Frit Ravich\u201d<\/em>\n<\/strong> will have the support of the brand to “feed the English of the youngest” and remind people of the importance of practicing a foreign language for their personal and professional future. Throughout the season, the U15 to U18 teams will be able to voluntarily participate in weekly English classes, as well as in meetings with players from the first team of B\u00e0squet Girona<\/strong> and players from Uni Girona<\/strong> . <\/p>\n\n

In addition to the sponsorship of the English program, Frit Ravich<\/strong> will strengthen its visibility at the points of sale in the Fontajau<\/strong> pavilion during the matches, thus contributing to create a dynamic and attractive atmosphere for the fans.<\/p>\n\n

As a kick-off to the program, a special meeting was organized, where participants in the program ” Feeding Your English with Frit Ravich<\/strong> ” had the opportunity to get to know two players from the first team of B\u00e0squet Girona<\/strong> : Mindaugas Su\u0161inskas and Nike Sibande.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n

During the session, participants heard anecdotes, such as how both players have achieved a maximum score of 36 points in a game. They also shared their satisfaction with being part of B\u00e0squet Girona<\/g> , highlighting the excellent atmosphere among teammates and the affection they receive from the city and the fans. Interestingly, both players started playing basketball almost by chance. <\/p>\n\n

Mindaukaus S\u00fbsinskas<\/strong> stressed the importance of English in the world of basketball, stating: \u201cEnglish is very important because it is a global sport. The best players and coaches are<\/em> from the US, so you need to master the language to communicate and understand yourself with them.<\/em> \u201d For his part, Nike Sibande<\/strong> added: \u201c It is essential to communicate with your teammates and understand yourself on the court.\u201d<\/em> <\/p>\n\n

Sibande<\/strong> also encouraged them to come to Fontajau<\/strong> on Sunday to support the team “the fans are very important in the key moments and the impact your support can have on the performance of the players is also”.<\/em><\/p>\n\n

The next in-person meeting will be a special class conducted by Frit Ravich<\/strong> focused on nutrition. This session will include a talk on nuts as part of a healthy diet for athletes.
