CaixaBank and UNI Girona have signed the sponsorship renewal agreement that unites the financial institution and the Catalan club for the 2024-2025 season. Both entities have maintained the sponsorship agreement since 2009 and, through this renewal, CaixaBank continues as the official partner and financial partner of the Girona club. <\/p>\n\n
The president of UNI Girona, Cayetano P\u00e9rez; and the director of CaixaBank’s Institutional Banking in the Catalonia regional management of CaixaBank, Joaquim Maci\u00e0, have signed this new agreement, which will link both entities for the current season. The signing of the agreement was also attended by the director of CaixaBank’s Institutional Banking in Girona, Gemma Batlle. <\/p>\n\n
Cayetano P\u00e9rez, president of the club, stated that “we are very happy to renew this agreement with CaixaBank, a partner that has accompanied us for many years and that has always shown great commitment to our project. This collaboration allows us to continue growing as a club. We are sure that this new season will be full of success thanks to this support”.<\/p>\n\n
For his part, the director of Institutional Banking, Joaquim Maci\u00e0, also highlighted the importance of this agreement thanks to which “the entity will support UNI Girona for a new season. This sponsorship represents a boost to CaixaBank’s strategy, which maintains its firm commitment to sport and Girona”.<\/p>\n\n
In Girona, specifically, this commitment to sport translates into support for the city’s two basketball teams, UNI Girona, a team that plays in the Endesa Women’s League; and Club B\u00e0squet Girona, the men’s team that plays in the ACB League, and which has the support of CaixaBank.<\/p>\n\n
As part of the financial institution’s sponsorship of UNI Girona for this season, it is planned to carry out a series of activations where users from different entities in the territory will be linked and which will serve to bring sport, healthy habits and social inclusion closer to the most vulnerable groups.<\/p>\n\n
