The new players and the sports management shared their first impressions before starting the pre-season work. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The sports director, Fernando San Emeterio, positively assessed the composition of the group, explaining that &#8220;we have a versatile squad with good physical strength. I&#8217;ve had to work for everything I&#8217;ve achieved and being in Girona and playing in the ACB is a dream I&#8217;ve always had. I&#8217;m looking forward to taking advantage of this opportunity&#8221;. For his part, youngster Isaac V\u00e1zquez explained the reason for his decision, stressing that &#8220;I choose Girona because of the trust they give me, they are the first to bet on me&#8221;. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new faces of the team agreed to highlight the good reception they have received in the city and the club. <a href=\"https:\/\/basquetgirona.com\/en\/noticia\/mac-mcclung-is-already-in-girona\/\">The latest to join, Mac McClung<\/a> , commented that \u201cso far it has been great. I have only been here for a short time, but the atmosphere and the teammates have helped me a lot. Along the same lines, Andrzej Pluta pointed out that \u201cthe city is beautiful, the feeling is very familiar and the club is very professional; we are very eager to get started\u201d, while center David N&#8217;Guessan stated that \u201cso far it has gone very well, I am excited to get everything going, meet the fans and start the season\u201d. <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally, winger Alja\u017e Kunc highlighted the human factor at FIATC Girona, highlighting that &#8220;the people around the club, from Moncho to the people in the office, everyone has been great with us.
