On the second day, the Galician team achieved its first victory against Surne Bilbao Basket by 104 to 101, while in the last match they lost against Casademont Zaragoza by 71 to 92.

Among the main offensive references of the Galician team, Alonzo Verge Jr. stands out, who averages 18.7 points and 6 assists per game. Caio Pacheco, Lukas Uleckas and George Conditt, all three with an average of 8 points per game, should also be taken into account.

Regarding the opponent, Moncho Fernández highlighted some similarities between the two teams, especially the desire to play proactively and generate advantages from the collective. However, the coach pointed out the offensive rebound as one of Leyma Coruña’s main threats.

The FIATC Girona, in Fontajau

The Girona team comes into the match after having achieved their first victory of the season on the opening day against UCAM Murcia. In the preview, Moncho Fernández pointed out that it is still early to establish patterns depending on whether the team plays at home or away, and placed the keys in aspects such as defensive performance and turnovers.

Regarding Pep’s injury, the coach regretted the player’s absence and the difficulties it poses for the team, which already had problems in this position due to Maxi’s absence: “It’s sad news for us and for Pep. We already had problems in this position without Maxi and now we lose Pep.
