John Jenkins signs for Básquet Girona

The American escort arrives from the G-League Ignite

John Logan Jenkins (Hendersonville, Tennessee, USA, 1991) is a new player for Básquet Girona for the rest of the season. The escort, 193 centimeters, arrives from the G-League Ignite, of the North American G-League. 

During this campaign, Jenkins has played in 34 games, scoring 17.7 points, grabbing 2.1 rebounds and dishing out 2.3 assists per game. His potential from the three-point shot stands out, with an average of 3.2 three-pointers in 7.8 attempts per game -40.9% success rate-. 

The player already knows what it is to play in the ACB: he played the 2017-18 season with San Pablo Burgos and in 2020-21 he was part of Bilbao Basket. 

The new signing from Básquet Girona also has experience in the NBA, where he has played 175 games between the Atlanta Hawks, Dallas Mavericks, Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards and New York Knicks.

He is expected to arrive in Girona in the next few hours and is awaiting a medical check-up with the club’s medical services.
