REASON FOR BEING
Bàsquet Girona was formed with the intention of becoming a social entity that acts to sow a society that is kinder and more respectful of the environment and the social context that surrounds it. Three seeds are part of the club’s raison d’être.
GIRONA SEED
Blooming a healthy personality beyond training the player. The players who form part of the club’s base are the most important and precious foundation of Bàsquet Girona. The intention of the club has always been to teach basketball from its various sides as well as to promote the personal development of the player beyond the parquet with initiatives that promote the relevance of maintaining healthy habits according to emotional health, healthy eating and rest and the importance of having a good level of English.
SOCIAL SEED
To make a feeling of equality and fraternity with the other flourish. Bàsquet Girona is a social entity that promotes initiatives and collaborates with non-profit projects that persevere in creating a generous and educated society.
SUSTAINABLE SEED
To flourish an active and respectful look with the environment. Bàsquet Girona promotes and educates a sustainable way of doing things with everyday actions that give importance to the fundamental role of society in the current climate crisis.

3×3 male
Básquet Girona's 3x3 sports initiative begins in June 2020 with the creation of the men's team, which debuts in a tournament in Paris the following month. In February 2022, the women's team would be created, thus having a team in each category. Both teams compete at national and continental level, going on to compete in World Tours and Challenger, the most important tournaments on the international scene.

E-Sports
DUX Girona, the E-Sports team created together with the Team DUX Gaming group, competes in state and European tournaments in the NBA 2k discipline. The project began in October 2022 and, under the umbrella of the Girona nomenclature, it has already been proclaimed champion of a continental event.

Base
The Básquet Girona base is the first stone on which the sports project of Básquet Girona is founded. In the first season 2014-15, the club had five teams, to which a second team was added in the junior category the following season. In June 2021, the base of the club would grow from six to nineteen teams as a result of the relationship with CEB Girona. A year later, in June 2022, Básquet Girona would reach an agreement with UNI Girona to start a joint women's base project and expand the base of players to the current 400.

ACB Team
The first Girona Basketball team was born in the 2017-18 season, in which it competes in the EBA league, the fourth category of state basketball. In 2018 he was promoted to LEB Plata, in which he played for two seasons before being promoted to LEB Or by being in preferential positions when the competition was interrupted due to covid. On June 19, 2022, after two courses in the category, the first team advances to the highest state competition, the ACB.

Wheelchair basketball
The club's wheelchair team is a project born in October 2021 as a result of the relationship with CB Mifas, a historic entity in the city that has been working on adapted basketball since the eighties. The team from Girona plays its matches in Fontajau and competes in the first Catalan category and in the third national category.
