Girona 3×3 Basketball starts its fourth season and does so by adding a new partner to the project: DUX Gaming.
Both institutions were already aligned, last September, in order to reach new audiences and acquire a new dimension, entering with power the European competitions of the video game NBA 2K.
Now, the relationship begins as a partner for the 3×3 competitions, in which Básquet Girona has been competing since the summer of 2020 with the men’s team. In February 2022, the women’s team was added to the project and, currently, the two teams compete in Catalan, Spanish and European competitions.
DUX, a leading club in sports and content
DUX Gaming was born in 2018 with an absolutely disruptive idea in the world of sports: to build the first major sports club born in the 21st century, generating interest among younger audiences through content and developing a decentralized and global fandom. DUX focuses solely on sports video games such as EA SPORTS FIFA or NBA 2K, as they do not contain violence and share the same values and rules as real sports.
