The technical team of Basketball Girona 2023-24

The technical staff for the second season at the acb is already ready

The new technical team that will lead Básquet Girona in its second season in the acb is now complete. The technical organizational chart has new faces compared to last season.

Camps will be accompanied by a working group made up of technicians Álex Formento (founder of the club, coach of the promotion to LEB Or, who comes from Baskonia and who returns to the first team of Básquet Girona), Lluís Riera (assistant for several seasons at the Club Joventut Badalona, ​​Baskonia and Zenit) and Miquel Fuentes, who was already part of the staff last season. Fuentes will also be responsible for the methodological area of ​​the club’s base.

Arnau Sacot (physical trainer), Sergi Juanola (physiotherapist) and Albert Juncà (team manager) will continue to occupy their current tasks and, in the medical area, dr. Dídac Masvidal, until now doctor of the Club Joventut de Badalona, ​​will replace dr. Jordi Sitjà, who will continue working at the base of the club.

Albert Sàbat becomes the main coach of the CB Salt project linked to EBA and will be part of the Girona Basketball technical team.
