Rehagirona and Bàsquet Girona raise awareness of wheelchair basketball

The club's wheelchair team and the ACB team played a wheelchair basketball normalization game

Rehagirona – Bàsquet Girona, the club’s wheelchair team, and ACB team players Quino Colom, Máximo Fjellerup, Pierre Oriola, Kameron Taylor and Ondra Hanzlik played a wheelchair basketball match to highlight a different way of experiencing sport and normalize the situation experienced by people in wheelchairs.

The action is part of the collaboration agreement between Rehagirona and Bàsquet Girona, which began last season, which resulted in the name of the wheelchair team being changed to Rehagirona – Bàsquet Girona.

Rehagirona is a company that offers  comprehensive solutions of high quality for active mobility. She is involved in the renovation and improvement of the wheelchair equipment of the Rehagirona – Bàsquet Girona team, as well as the situation of the team members through clinical assessments and technical advice.
