Pato Garino is already in Girona and has successfully passed the medical tests carried out by the club. He thus joins the orders of Aíto García Reneses.

The Argentinian winger was with his team to play in the AmeriCup, but had to leave the meeting due to muscle problems. Yesterday he was successfully examined by the Girona Basketball medical services and can now start training.

Trained in the lower categories of teams in his hometown of Mar del Plata, Garino moved to the United States at the age of 16 to continue progressing athletically and academically. From 2012 to 2016 he completed the American college stage at the George Washington Colonials of the NCAA. The following season (2016-17) he played for the Austin Spurs, a D-League team owned by the San Antonio Spurs. He finished the season with the Orlando Magic, making his NBA debut.

After the American adventure, he made the jump to the European continent, where he has played for Baskonia (20017-20), Lithuanian Zalgiris Kaunas (2020-21) and French Nanterre (2021-22). He has experience in the ACB (64 games) and the Euroleague (55).

With his arrival, only Roko Prkačin, who is competing in the Eurobasket with Croatia, and Maxi Fjellerup, who is currently competing in the AmeriCup with Argentina, will be waiting to join the Girona discipline.
