Marc Gasol will be part of the Básquet Girona squad in the historic debut in the ACB

The return of Marc Gasol to the ACB is already a reality. The pivot has been registered in the squad led by Aíto García Reneses and will make a historic debut this Wednesday in Fontajau.

The president of Básquet Girona, and founder of the club in 2014, will return to compete in the ACB after 14 seasons, precisely in Girona, where he exploded to end up making the jump to the NBA. Gasol, 37 years old and 211 cm, joined the team in December of last season when the team contested the LEB Or. The result was a historic promotion that will allow the Girona club to be in the Spanish elite for the first time and return the ACB to the city.
