New pre-season test against Joventut de Badalona

The first team will face the Badalonians at the Olot Municipal Hall in the second pre-season test

Aíto García Reneses’ men are picking up pace in these first weeks of training. After the debut against Baxi Manresa and the training behind closed doors against Overtime Elite last Wednesday, it is now the turn for the confrontation against Joventut de Badalona.

Tomorrow, Saturday, at 6.45pm, Girona and Badalona will play a new test with the aim of preparing for the semi-finals of the Catalan League scheduled for September 20. The stage will be the Olot Municipal Sports Hall.

Básquet Girona was already able to test their new pieces against Baxi Manresa, where they lost by the minimum (73-72). In total, 5 signings debuted in the match: Taylor, Colom,  Fig trees,  Miletić  i  Hanzlik. The youngsters from the youth academy, Ferran Díaz and Kevin Torres, were also able to participate for a few minutes. 

This will be the first match of the 2022-2023 campaign for Joventut de Badalona. The team led by Carles Duran had a great season last year, finishing third in the league and falling to the semi-finals against FC Barcelona.
