Fourth appointment as a visitor

Básquet Girona will play the fourth match on the road against Covirán Granada this Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. The team from Granada is the leader of the category with five wins and a single defeat, as a home match against Leyma Coruña -Sunday’s rival in Fontajau-. 

The Andalusian team continues with Pablo Pin in the technical direction and a block that has kept the skeleton of last season, with the two bases Lluís Costa and Christian Díaz, the outsider Thomas Bropleh or the insider David Iriarte. To all this, they have added heavy pieces to the gear like the pivot winger Jacobo Díaz, coming from Mallorca, or the former Mallorcan ACB for 13 seasons Pere Tomàs.

Carles Marco: “Happy with the work we are doing and now I hope that tomorrow against a very good opponent we will compete as best as possible and have options to win as we have had in many games.”

Olaf Schaftenaar: “The last two games we lost by very few points but we did a lot of things well. I think we have to focus on that, the way we competed rather than the result, having the option to win in the end. Unfortunately, the games didn’t end the way we wanted but we have to continue the way we are doing to improve.”
