Defined the Catalan League LEB Plata

The senior will play the preliminary game against CB Vic-Universitat de Vic on September 12 (8:30 p.m.), in Santa Coloma de Farners

The Girona Basketball senior team will play in the LEB Plata Catalan League this year for the first time. The Catalan federation has decided that the Girona team will face CB Vic-Universitat de Vic in the preview of the competition, on September 12 (8:30 p.m.), in Santa Coloma de Farners, in what will be the first official match of the new season. Both teams have been promoted this summer, benefiting from the expansion from 16 to 24 teams. The winner will enter the final, where CB L’Hospitalet will be waiting. The match will take place on September 15 (6:30 p.m.), also in the Selvatana town.  

The champion of the Catalan League LEB Plata will have the additional prize of qualifying for the semi-finals of the LEB Or, where they will have as a rival CB Prat in the double game format (first and second leg). The duels would be held on September 20 and 22.
