The senior gets the third victory in a row on the track of Club Básquet Roser (61-71) and consolidates in second place in the CA group of EBA, with 7-3

The senior team of Bàsquet Girona has successfully overcome the visit to the court of the cuer, the Club Bàsquet Roser (61-71), and the third consecutive victory reinforces it in second position in the CA group of EBA with a balance of 7-3. It was not an easy victory because the locals have never thrown in the towel and, as a result of their combativeness, they have preserved their chances until the final stretch.  

The first minutes of Quim Costa’s team have been magnificent. With defense, rebounding and rhythm, the team found their game and opened holes with ease (3-16, 5′). But, bit by bit, the Barcelona players reacted and restored equality at the beginning of the second quarter after a 13-0 lead. The game slowed down and, in this scenario, the opponent was at ease, although at half-time, the teams were level (30-30). The passage through the locker room has been restorative for Bàsquet Girona, which has recovered its intensity, transition and ball circulation in the third quarter. As a result, it has again distanced itself with advantages of up to +14 at the end of the third quarter (40-54). Club Básquet Roser, which maintains last year’s block in the Catalunya Cup, never gives up and has not disengaged from the game, although it has not been able to complete the comeback.  

The seniors’ next game will be next Saturday, December 2 in Fontajau, against Aracena-AEC Collblanc (7 p.m.).
