End of year in English classes

The Escola Básquet Girona Marc Gasol launched the initiative last February

Enhancing the comprehensive training of players has been one of the pillars of the Girona Marc Gasol Basketball School since its inception. This year, it has been chosen to take a step further in this aspect and, from February, English classes were introduced with the aim of supporting the learning of this language. The experience has allowed the club’s players to consolidate their progression off the court as well. The activity took place at the same school in Montfalgars and was combined with the training hours. The last class of this course was on Monday of last week.  

The intention is to give continuity to the initiative and, in this sense, it has also already been introduced on campus, which will take place in the month of July. Thus, the club aims to strengthen the knowledge of the players and at the same time help them prepare to enter a university in the United States if they so wish.
