FRANCISCO CÁFFARO SIGNS FOR GIRONA BASKETBALL

Francisco Cáffaro (Santa Fe, 2000) is a new player in the Girona Basketball first team. The Argentinian pivot (216 cm) comes from Movistar Estudiantes de LEB Or, where he concluded the season -7 games- after finishing his journey in the NCAA. Caffaro it is a tall interior that responds to the club’s desire to accompany young players in their sporting development.

After playing in the NCAA defending the colors of the Virginia Cavaliers (2019-23) and Santa Calara Broncos (2023-24), Cáaro finished this season at Movistar Estudiantes de LEB Or, where he played 14 games with an average of 8.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 9.1 rating .

Francisco is a big pivot and very mobile , who will give us a lot of solidity in defense.
