The Girona team started very active in attack and defense, generating turnovers for the opponent and being especially successful from the outside line, with four three-pointers in four attempts. The home team managed to make up for the initial 7-19 run, before Ike Iroegbu’s final basket at the edge (16-24). If the first period was Girona’s, the second was clearly home, with an initial 18-0 run, which allowed the Galician team to generate a ten-point advantage (37-27) before the end of the first half (42-32).

The Girona team managed to adjust the score with a great start to the third quarter, with Ike and Maxi leading the scoring (7 points each in the period).
