Success in the 3x3 tournament

The Palau-Sacosta pavilion has been, for another year, the setting for the already consolidated Torneig 3×3 Universitari , a joint initiative of Bàsquet Girona and the Sports Service of the University of Girona . The event, held from 12 noon to 4 pm, brought together students and basketball fans for a day full of activities.

The participants competed in three categories – men’s, women’s and mixed –, forming teams of 4 to 6 players. In addition to a group stage and a final round, the tournament included a three-point competition , open to all attendees, with a prize for the best basket scorer.

The good weather has allowed us to install a Fan Zone outside , with bar service provided by Estrella Damm and live music provided by a DJ.

Each registrant received a Welcome Pack with several gifts , including a ticket to Platea, and participated in exclusive raffles . In addition, the winners of each category were awarded special surprise prizes .

With great participation and a festive atmosphere, the 3×3 University consolidates its role as a leading event to promote the practice of basketball among the university community.
