The first few minutes were favorable to the visiting team, who found success from the perimeter with three three-pointers in the first four minutes, which allowed them to take the lead on the scoreboard. This effectiveness made it difficult for the local team to react, and the first quarter ended with an advantage for Lleida (20-24).

As soon as the second period began, Girona reacted with a 9-0 run, which helped them turn the score around and take the initiative. However, Lleida responded with good defense and successful inside plays, regaining control of the game. In the final stretch of the quarter, two consecutive three-pointers from Girona reversed the dynamic again, establishing the largest difference so far (+9). The halftime break came with the home team leading 45-40.

In the second half, Lleida started strongly, led by a very active Oriol Paulí who scored 8 points in a few minutes, closing the gap. Despite this start, Girona managed to contain the momentum with defensive intensity and good minutes on offense. Jarod Lucas, with two three-pointers, was key for the Girona team to finish the third quarter with an advantage (70-64).

In the last quarter, Girona struck again with two consecutive three-pointers that gave the team the biggest margin of the game so far (+12). However, Lleida did not give up and managed to cut the gap to five points. In the final minutes, the Girona team was able to control the pace and maintain their advantage, culminating in the victory in a festive atmosphere in Fontajau (95-83).
