Spar Girona now has a rival in the semifinals of the Catalan League

MCR Lima-Horta Barcelona will be Spar Girona’s rival in the semifinals of the 2025 Catalan Women’s League. The Hortenc team, coached by Ramon Reigada, has been proclaimed champion of the 5th edition of the Catalan National Women’s Challenge League after beating Santfeliuenc (74-72).

With this victory, the Barcelona team has earned a place in the tournament and will face the Girona team on Saturday, September 20 (12:30 p.m.) at the Palau d’Esports Catalunya in Tarragona. In case of victory, Spar Girona would play the final on Sunday, September 21 (4 p.m.) at the same venue.
