The EuroLeague returns to Fontajau

This Wednesday, Spar Girona returns to Fontajau to play the third day of the EuroLeague Women. The Girona team will receive a visit from Tango Bourges Basket (7 p.m.), one of the historic teams in European women’s basketball.

This will be the third meeting between the two teams in the competition. The first two meetings, held in 2015 and 2016, ended in French victories. This season, Bourges reached the group stage after overcoming Kibirskstis in the qualifiers. In the first two matches, they lost at home to the European champions, USK Praha (57-77), and added a home win against VBW Arka Gdynia (57-72).
