Bàsquet Girona completed the match and the most unanimous victory of the season against Barça. Moncho Fernández’s players were consistent throughout the forty minutes on both sides of the court. The high pace they imposed took effect from their own court, which allowed them to run, and in static play they added the best number of triple-point attempts of the ACB season with a high percentage (37%). It is the third best record for Bàsquet Girona in the ACB (it has managed to achieve 16 and 17). In fact, this data is better understood together with the successful outside shots in the last four games , in which the team’s average is 12.5 three-pointers per game. Currently, it is the fourth team that scores the most (10.5) below Valencia (13.17), Gran Canaria (11) and Breogán (10.67).

The protagonists of the good outside statistics were one of the fundamental pillars of the historic victory, in which five players achieved double digits in points and rating, four of these outside players, who added 12 of the team’s 15 three-pointers. Livingston II, Busquets, Needham, Geben and Vildoza, with 76 of the 96 points, led the team’s scoring battery and added in aspects such as assists (Otis is the second best assistant in the ACB) and dominance in the paint that allowed them to accentuate the work of their teammates and make the exhibition against Barça a global exercise.
