CaixaBank renews sponsorship agreement with Spar Girona

CaixaBank and Bàsquet Girona have signed the sponsorship renewal agreement that unites the financial institution and the Catalan club for the 2025-2026 season. Both entities have maintained the sponsorship agreement since 2009 and, through this renewal, CaixaBank continues as the official partner and financial partner of the Girona club.

The CEO of Bàsquet Girona, Stefi Batlle, and the director of Institutional Banking at CaixaBank in Girona, Gemma Batlle, have signed this new agreement that will link both entities for the current season.

This agreement consolidates CaixaBank as one of the club’s main sponsors, thus reinforcing the values ​​of teamwork, effort and commitment to the community that both entities share.

The new agreement not only implies the continuity of the existing collaboration, but also introduces new initiatives aimed at enhancing the impact of Spar Girona in both the sporting and social spheres. It is planned to carry out a series of activations where users from different entities in the territory will be linked to bring sport, healthy habits and social inclusion closer to the most vulnerable groups.

Stefi Batlle explained that “CaixaBank is much more than a sponsor: it is an ally that has been part of Spar Girona’s path for many years. We share the same way of understanding sport and commitment to Girona.”

For her part, Gemma Batlle highlighted that “the entity will support Spar Girona for a new season, maintaining its firm commitment to sport and Girona.”

In Girona, this commitment translates into support for the club’s two teams, the women’s and men’s, which compete in the Endesa Women’s League and the ACB League respectively. CaixaBank has around a hundred strategic agreements and is one of the pioneering sports sponsorship entities in the country, with a presence in football, basketball, running and Paralympic sports.
