First quarter with a lot of pace and short possessions for both teams. The high intensity led both teams to score, highlighting a first quarter of great equality in which the two three-pointers from Bibby and the four points from Mariam (15-14) stood out. The basket from Milic and McBride led Roberto to call a timeout with 1 minute left in the first quarter, but Spar missed the attack (19-14).

Again, the initial exchange led both teams to exchange baskets (triple by Joycte and +2 by Mariam, 21-19), but Messeman’s two consecutive actions put the Turks ahead (25-19). After Mariam’s basket, Williams’ mid-range shot and Messeman’s free throw gave them the maximum advantage in the match (28-21). Despite the difference, the three-pointers by Carol, Carter and Quevedo put the Girona team just 2 points behind (37-35).
