Girona Basketball celebrates the second Club Experience meeting

Bàsquet Girona celebrated the second Club Experience meeting on Wednesday, March 18, at the Hotel Mas Solà in Santa Coloma de Farners, a day that brought together more than 200 partners and collaborators of the club, as well as members of the board of directors, sports teams and staff from both the men’s first team and Spar Girona.

The day began with a participatory networking activity, with the aim of generating synergies and exchanging experiences between companies linked to the club. Afterwards, attendees shared a lunch that served as a space for networking and continuity of the meeting.

The corporate event then took place, with the institutional welcome and the different speeches, with the participation of the president of Bàsquet Girona Marc Gasol, the club’s CEO Stefi Batlle, the first team coaches Moncho Fernández and Roberto Íñiguez, as well as representatives of sponsors such as Laura Erra, CEO of Liquats Vegetals, and Francesc Julià, CEO of Kave Home.

During the block with sponsors, the focus was on the relationship between business and sport with issues such as the relevance for an international company of establishing a solid and long-term link with a local club like Bàsquet Girona, as well as the challenge of growing and aspiring to excellence without losing the roots and essence of Girona.

In this context, Marc Gasol has highlighted the role of sponsors in the growth of the project, highlighting that “it is an alliance of objectives and values ​​that helps us professionalize the club, add talent and helps us improve.”

Looking to the future, the president stressed the importance of consolidating the project and its impact on the territory, explaining that “first I think about where we are today to think about tomorrow. I am happy to see so many faces today and familiar faces who have been with us for years. I am ambitious for the future and I hope that in the coming years we manage to fill it and that the club is closer to sustainability and is an economic engine for the entire territory.”

The event also featured a musical performance by Queralt Bosch and served to strengthen the bonds between the club and its sponsors in an environment of proximity and collaboration.
