The Catalan League ACB again in Tarragona

The Palau d'Esports Catalunya will once again be the venue for a competition that will bring together, on September 9, 10, 11 and 13, 2026, the best Catalan Basketball teams.

The city of Tarragona will be the venue for the 47th edition of the ACB Catalan League 2026, which will be held next September, repeating the successful formula of recent seasons: preliminary phase with two groups of three teams in a single round from September 9 to 11; and grand final between the top finishers scheduled for Sunday 13. For the third consecutive year, the competition will be held at the Palau d’Esports Catalunya and, organized by the Catalan Basketball Federation (FCBQ), will be possible thanks to the Diputació de Tarragona and the collaboration of the Tarragona City Council and the Ministry of Sports of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The last ACB Catalan League, held from September 17 to 21, 2025, repeated and consolidated an ambitious competition format that brought together the six ACB clubs affiliated with the Catalan Federation: FC Barcelona, ​​Bàsquet Manresa, Joventut Badalona, ​​Bàsquet Girona, BC Andorra and Força Lleida CE.

It will be the fourth time that the Palau d’Esports Catalunya has hosted the Catalan ACB League and the fifth time that the competition has been held in the city of Tarragona. The first time was in 1995, at the Pavelló del Serrallo, and later, in 2022, 2024 and 2025 it was held at the new Palau d’Esports Catalunya. A facility that is a claim for competitions like this, and a reference sports destination to host this important sporting event again. The city of Tarragona once again shows total willingness to host a high-level competition like this and that will once again be the sporting epicenter of the best Catalan Basketball of the moment in the senior men’s category.
