FIATC Girona announces that player Maxi Fjellerup will have to undergo surgery again next Monday to treat the injury to his right ankle.

In this final phase of the recovery process, the ankle has not achieved the expected stability. After evaluating the different options, it has been decided to perform a new surgical intervention with the aim of giving more stability to the ankle.

Fjellerup has worked since the first day after his first operation with the aim of recovering and being available to help the team again. Throughout this process, the player has shown absolute commitment to his recovery and to the team, working throughout the summer and even giving up his vacation period to continue with the recovery process.

The club wants to publicly recognize the effort, professionalism and commitment that Maxi has shown during all these months.
