Despite being a newcomer to the category, the Balearic team has formed a squad full of stars and arrives in Girona after imposing itself with authority on Valencia Basket (88-71) on the first day. In their debut, the interior Kayla Alexander (22 points and 29 rating) and the former Girona player Klara Holm stood out, who signed a complete performance with 20 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists and 30 rating.
Regarding the team, Roberto Íñiguez has made it clear that the team will rise with “work. You fall, you get up and you continue, and you convince the players that the path is work: insisting, persevering and facing adversity. Adversity, well understood and well handled, can lead you down good paths.”
