Fernández, born in Santa Fe, Argentina, in 2002, is a 210 cm pivot, and his last team was Río Breogán. He is a pivot who can occupy either of the two interior positions. He has had Spanish nationality since the summer of 2023, which is why he counts as a training player for the ACB League.
The new player of the Girona team started at Club Atlético Unión in the city of Santa Fe. He subsequently moved to Fuenlabrada in 2019 and made his ACB league debut with Urbas Fuenlabrada on November 14, 2021 in the derby against Real Madrid. Last season he was named in the Best Five Youth of the 2023-24 ACB league after voting by coaches, players, media and fans.
