Básquet Girona won this afternoon on the BBA Castelldefels court (67-81), in the first day of the CA group of the EBA League. The team based the victory on a splendid first half where, thanks to the good defense, the success, and the offensive rhythm and dynamism, it reached the half-time with a 21-point advantage (23-44).
Back in the locker room, the locals have increased their defensive intensity and, although they have narrowed the differences on the scoreboard, they have never put Girona’s victory in jeopardy. In the debut, Milan Suskavcevic, with a sprained ankle, and Dino Kobic, with back problems, were out.
Next week, the senior team from Basketball Girona will face Vive El Masnou, on Saturday 30 September (7pm) in what will be their debut in Fontajau.
