After a month, the ACB returns to Fontajau

The team resumes sporting activity in Fontajau 27 days after the last match

Today the ACB returns to Girona. After almost a month Fontajau will host the Catalan derby between Bàsquet Girona and Joventut de Badalona. In the first round match, the visitors took the victory at home in which the Girona team was outplayed from the restart.

The team from Badalona lost the last match against Laguna Tenerife by a narrow margin. However, the green-and-blacks are having a very memorable campaign, being in fifth place in the standings and having played in the Cup. Catalan coach Dani Miret has a very physical squad with great play both inside and scoring from outside.

The Girona team did not achieve victory in their visit to Bilbao. However, Bàsquet Girona faces a new week with the hope of playing again and winning in front of their fans. Moncho Fernández once again has all the players at 100% compared to the last match in Bilbao, with the exception of Yves Pons.
