Básquet Girona and Caixabank close the third edition of the BG Mindset Program

Four schools have participated in the final day of the activity, which has maintained its usual dynamics despite the pandemic

The BG Mindset Program is an initiative of the club with the collaboration of Caixabank to promote the English language and the practice of sport among girls and boys from schools in the demarcation. This year the club has successfully completed the third edition of the social activity which, despite the pandemic situation, has continued to be in person. All the players have at some point passed through the twelve centers that have participated in the dynamic.

After the coronavirus made the celebration impossible, the club has again organized the Final Day of the BG Mindset Program at the Fontajau pavilion. The concluding activity lasted three hours between 9:30 and 12:30 and was attended by the Àgora school, the Arrels school, the Santa Eugènia school, the Esteve Carles de Lloret de Mar. The final day included five types of activities: inclusive, with the support of MIFAS, sports, fun, English and healthy habits. In addition, the students were able to enjoy an exhibition by the first team players at the end: Albert Sàbat, Gerard Sevillano, Robert Cosialls, Adrià Moncanut and Lamin Dibba. 

The club and Caixabank are satisfied with the way this year’s edition has developed and, for the next season, they will work together to be able to repeat it more regularly and by involving more schools from other parts of the demarcation always that the situation allows.
