Básquet Girona debuts in the Endesa Mini Cup in Valencia

Girona U14 Basketball will represent the club in the ACB tournament from December 6 to 8 at the Alqueria del Basket

From Tuesday 6 to Thursday 8 December, the preliminary phase of the ACB Endesa Minicup, the tournament in the children’s category of the highest state basketball competition, will take place at the Alqueria del Basket in Valencia. Básquet Girona will compete for the first time with the U14 team in group A together with Fundación 5+11 Baskonia (Baskonia), Unicaja Andalucía (Unicaja Málaga) and Cajasiete Canarias (Tenerife).

The Girona team will debut against the island team on Tuesday, December 6 (4:30 p.m.). The next day they will face Unicaja Andalucía (10:00 a.m.) and close the group stage against the Basque side (5:00 p.m.). 

The top finishers from the four groups will advance to the final stage to be played in Badalona to coincide with the ACB King’s Cup in February 2023. The remaining two places will be played by the four runners-up on Thursday, December 8. Club Joventut Badalona, ​​host, and Real Madrid Baloncesto, reigning champion, are now part of the final bracket of the Endesa Mini Cup.
