The Barcelona player will complete his second season at the club with the desire to maintain the progression of the first year. He believes that the current group has achieved good cohesion from the very beginning and the project is solid because of its seriousness and its good atmosphere.

A personal assessment of last season.

I give it a positive assessment. He came from Sant Cugat, from Copa Catalunya and where he had spent his whole life. Therefore, my adaptation was two-fold because I was skipping two competitions at once and changing teams for the first time. At the same time that the club gave me all the facilities, with the group we managed to create a lot of cohesion and this helped me to give my best on the court.

Were you clear that if the door to renewal opened, you would accept it?

Yes. Here in Girona I always found the best environment for my personal progression. The project is consistent and there is always a good atmosphere. The conditions are unbeatable.

How are you seeing the group? What do you think you can contribute?

The group is very beautiful. It’s been two weeks and it’s like two months. We meet more and more and the pre-season is helping us a lot in this regard. Within the group, I can contribute this degree of veteranity with Sergi for being the second year at the club. On the court, a lot of intensity both defensively and offensively, rebounding ability and being an argument on the counterattack. I consider myself a smart player on and off the ball and I will do whatever the coach tells me to do my bit in the group.

You already competed in LEB Plata last year, how do you see it this year?

At the beginning it is always difficult to see who will be the favorite because yes there are teams that have strengthened themselves very well but it is also a very competitive category. When the competition arrives we will be able to have more solid arguments but it seems that LEB Plata will be more complicated than last season.

What is the best memory that basketball has given you?

The best thing I take away from all these years are the friendships. Both in my long career in Sant Cugat and here you experience good sports moments, but what remains most ingrained in your memory are the people you share them with. I have been lucky enough to make good friends both in Sant Cugat and here.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Watching series and movies and going to the cinema are the main activities I like to do but I am in favor of doing any of them with my friends.

A song.
