CaixaBank provides training to first team players

The talk dealt with financial education and was aimed at Girona Basketball players

CaixaBank, social partner of Básquet Girona, has given a talk on financial education to the club’s first team. The talk was given by Joan Ignasi Prat, Director of Private Banking at CaixaBank’s Catalonia regional office. This action is part of the collaboration agreement between both entities.

During the talk, the players were able to learn more about the operation of the financial institution and the characteristics of some financing, savings and investment products. CaixaBank is committed to financial education in all social strata as a basic tool to manage the household economy and make better financial decisions.

Girona Basketball and CaixaBank have been growing together for four years, working on social initiatives that have benefited people from all over the region. The English promotion program in schools, participation in the Great Food Collection or the Cáritas “Your rights are at stake” campaign are some of the collaborations they have carried out together. Various activities are also carried out with the Special Work Center “Els Joncs”,  and with other social organizations such as Oncolliga and Creu Roja Joventut.
