Champions of the Herbalife Zaragoza

The women's team took home the Zaragoza Open 3x3 Series title and the men's team reached the quarterfinals of the tournament

The Girona Women’s 3×3 Basketball won the first Herbalife title in the second tournament it contested, in Zaragoza. For its part, the men’s team reached the first round of the competition. 

The men’s team started the tournament winning two games out of three matches in the group stage but fell in the first chapter of the final stage against 3×3 Pitius in a tight 18-21. 

The women’s group made it through the group stage and in the three elimination matches showed a firm solidity on the court and on the scoreboard. In the quarter-finals they beat Valencia Basket (21-13), in the semi-finals Agua y Jardín 3×3 (21-12) and in the final (20-13).

With this victory, the two teams of Basketball Girona 3×3 will be in the final Herbalife tournament in Tenerife on Friday 28 and Saturday 29 July.
