Closed squad for the EBA League debut

The senior team, led by Quim Costa, will debut this Sunday on the BBA Castelldefels track (6:15 p.m.)

Once the pre-season has been completed, the seniors of Basketball Girona face their first match in the EBA League this Sunday at the BBA Castelldefels track (6:15 p.m.). These are the members of this season’s squad, led by Quim Costa as coach:

– Daniel Manchón . 19 years and 1.93. He comes from being an important piece last season at the Universidad de Burgos (EBA). Previously, he had been in LEB Or dynamics, with Valladolid (2014/15) and Palencia (2015/16).

– Raimon Carrasco . 18 years and 1.88. He comes directly from FC Barcelona junior where, during the last season, he participated in five matches in LEB Or with the subsidiary. This summer, he was runner-up in the U18 European Championship with the Spanish national team. Previously, he had been called up for the U-17 World Cup (2016) and the U-16 European Championship (2015).

– Xavi Costa .  32 years and 1.92. Extensive career in the EBA league as he has participated in eleven of the last twelve seasons. The last two, in the ranks of CB Mollet.

– Guillem Pascua .  28 years old and 1.84. He has played the last three seasons in CB Salt (EBA). He had previously played for Adepaf, in the Catalunya Cup.

– Isaac Valera . 25 years and 1.91. He comes from CB Sant Narcís, with whom he has played in recent seasons. Last time, in the Catalunya Cup.

– Pau Juscafresa .  20 years and 1.98. Last year, he also played for CB Sant Narcís, in the Catalunya Cup. Previously, he had been in Quart and Olost, in his last season as a junior. 

– Jaime Llano . 21 years and 2.02. Last year, he played for Martínez Valls d’Ontinyent, of the 1st national team in Valencia. Before, he had been in Estudiantes de Lugo. 

– David Cuéllar . 20 years and 1.96. He comes from Fuenlabrada, where he has been for the last three seasons, the last two with the subsidiary (one at LEB Plata and the other at EBA). He made his debut with the first team in the ACB.

– Dino Kobic . 19 years and 2.07. He comes from Zlatorog Lasko, where he was in the dynamic of the first team, in the Slovenian 1st division. He has been international for Bosnia and Herzegovina in lower categories.

-Raphael Dos Santos . 26 years and 2.00. Formed at Onyar with whom he got to play in the Catalunya Cup with the first team, the last two years he has been in the Fourth (EBA).

– Milan Suskavcevic . 19 years and 2.09. Formed in KK Podgorica (Montenegro, his native country), he arrived in the summer of 2014 in Fuenlabrada, before facing his last junior year. The last two seasons, he has been part of the subsidiary (one at LEB Plata and the other at EBA). International for Montenegro in lower categories.

– Alfonso Alzamora . 38 years and 2.06. Extensive career at the first level. He accumulated 358 matches in the ACB, divided between FC Barcelona, ​​Joventut de Badalona, ​​Breogán, Menorca and Manresa. The last six seasons, he has played in the LEB Or, the last four in Força Lleida.

In addition, Pau Casademont (18 years old and 1.95) will have a CB Sant Narcís card (Catalan 2) and will be part of the first team. He has been in Basketball Girona for the last two seasons, during his junior stage.
