First Team | Saturday, 31 January 2026
Bàsquet Girona returns to Fontajau to begin the second round against San Pablo Burgos (Saturday, 9pm). After two consecutive victories in Badalona and Zaragoza, the Girona team is looking to achieve its first home win of 2026.
They will face San Pablo Burgos, the penultimate ranked team, which promises to be a competitive and energetic opponent with and without the ball. Porfi Fisac’s team has shown a renewed face with the new coach and the addition of Ethan Happ, which has allowed them to prove the highest accuracy in two-point shots in the category. They are also known for being one of the leaders in offensive rebounding and recovery. Also standing out are the American Jhivvan Jackson and the Argentine Gonzalo Corbalán.
