Bàsquet Girona visits the Pavelló Barris Nord this Sunday, February 15 (12:00 h) to face Hiopos Lleida in a direct duel in the middle-low zone of the classification. The Lleida team, coached by Gerard Encuentra, are in twelfth place with a record of 8 wins and 11 losses, while the Girona team is in tenth place with 9 wins and 10 losses. Both teams come to the clash after having lost in their respective Catalan derbies on the last day, which makes the match an opportunity to react and recover sensations.

The Segrià team has James Batemon as its main offensive reference. In the last meeting between the two teams, played at the end of 2025 in Fontajau (103-86), the guard scored 27 points which were not enough against a more cohesive Girona, with seven players in double figures. Moncho Fernández’s team won the match thanks to their dominance of the offensive rebound (+9, 11-2) and their effectiveness on the counterattack (+9, 13-4). So far, Bàsquet Girona has won the three previous meetings in the Endesa League, a precedent that Hiopos Lleida will try to break in front of their fans.
