Double representation at the Platja d'Aro Tournament

Bàsquet Girona and Spar Girona make their debut in a competition that brings together great teams from the national and international scene

Platja d’Aro will become the epicenter of Catalan basketball this week with the celebration of the first Torneig de Platja d’Aro, which will feature the participation of both Bàsquet Girona and Spar Girona. The women’s team will open the competition on Thursday, September 11 at 7:00 p.m. against CBS Santfeliuenc, just one day after having played a demanding friendly against Tolouse Basket in Andorra.

For its part, the Girona men’s basketball team will take to the court on Friday, September 12 at 8:30 p.m. to face Barça in a duel that promises strong emotions. The tournament, which was born with the desire to consolidate itself on the calendar, will serve to give the Girona teams a chance to practice and offer a spectacle to all the fans who will fill the Costa Brava pavilion.
