Doubles tournament


The 3x3 team will be divided into two teams to play the tournaments in El Campelló and Alqueria del Basket at the same time

After combining two tournaments in the same weekend (the Catalan and Spanish circuits), the 3×3 team of Básquet Girona will be divided into two teams to compete in the fourth meeting of the Herbalife 3×3 Series, in El Campelló, and the tournament independent “Alqueria del Basket 3×3” contested at the Valencia sports complex. Both events will take place between Friday 13 and Saturday 14 August. 

El Campelló, before Ferrol and Barcelona

After the tournament in Marbella, the Herbalife 3×3 Series reached the equator of its route, which will continue in El Campelló before facing the final stretch in Ferrol and Barcelona. In the Valencian city, the Girona team, which is in Group A, will be represented by Javi Vega, Sergio de la Fuente, Sergi Pino and Xavi Guirao. The first match will be played on Friday afternoon against DEVORADORES (6:20 p.m.) and, the second, two hours later against Gachas con Marisco (8:20 p.m.).

The elimination phase of the tournament, in which FlowerSix , the team’s last executioner, will also compete, will start on Saturday morning from 12:00 while the semi-final round will begin in the evening (20 :30h) and the final (22:25h).

Second consecutive independent tournament 

With the achievement of the O’Marisquiño tournament, Básquet Girona won the first title in an independent 3×3 tournament, which also gave them access to an international event. The next challenge of these characteristics is in Valencia, at the Alqueria del Basket, where a 3×3 competition with the same name is contested in which not only is a financial bonus obtained but also points are at stake in the FIBA ​​ranking. On the 13th, the group stage will be contested: against La Banda del Patio (6:40 p.m.), B-Ball Center (8:40 p.m.) and ONIL 3X3 (10:10 p.m.). On the 14th the elimination phase: quarter-finals, semi-finals and final. The representatives of the team will be Nacho Martín, Edgar San Epifanio, Álex Llorca and Prince Ifeanyi Orizu, a new addition.
