FIATC and Bàsquet Girona renew their commitment
The insurer will continue to be the main sponsor of the Club presided over by Marc Gasol during the 25-26 season

FIATC Insurance and Bàsquet Girona have renewed the agreement for one year whereby the insurer is the club’s main sponsor. The alliance, which was formalized today at FIATC’s headquarters in Barcelona, reinforces the close relationship between both entities, united since 2018, when the first team competed in LEB Plata.
In 2022, coinciding with the first team’s historic promotion to the Endesa League (ACB), the insurer took a step further and became its main sponsor. Since then, FIATC and Bàsquet Girona have shared a path based on common values: the promotion of healthy lifestyles, teamwork, innovation and commitment to society and the environment.
The signing ceremony of the agreement was attended by the president of Bàsquet Girona, Marc Gasol, and the general director of FIATC, Joan Manuel Castells, who highlighted the solidity of the collaboration and the importance of giving continuity to a sports project that has consolidated itself as a benchmark both in Girona and in Spanish basketball as a whole.
“We are pleased to continue for another year alongside Bàsquet Girona, a club with which we share values. We want to continue supporting its growth and contribute to a project in which basketball is a great tool for change and social improvement in Girona, where we have a significant base of mutual members.”, said the general director of FIATC Assegurances after the signing.

Like a married couple who understand each other, who share the same common goal and always try to grow together. Thank you very much for your support, collaboration and encouragement. I am sure that we will have many successes this year.”, added the president of Bàsquet Girona.
With this renewal, FIATC reaffirms its commitment to the sport and to a team that has managed to connect with the fans, projecting the values of basketball and collective effort beyond the court.
