FIATC insurance joins Basketball Girona

The insurer and the Girona club have reached a collaboration agreement for the next two seasons

The mutual FIATC Assegurances joins Basketball Girona as a partner in the project that was created five years ago in Girona by the hand of Marc Gasol and a team committed to his idea. FIATC, which has offices in Girona and Banyoles, joins the Girona project because of its local status and because it shares and has the desire to promote the values ​​of the club. Values ​​that the company has defended throughout its history, supporting grassroots and elite sport to enhance aspects such as teamwork, the effort and improvement it brings to society.  

FIATC, the first mutual in Catalonia, was founded in 1930 and offers insurance for all areas of people’s lives: health, life, savings, home, retirement, death, automobile, trade, as well as industrial insurance, plans of pensions and leisure insurance for boats, horses and travel assistance.

Bàsquet Girona was born five years ago with the aim of allowing young talents from the region to develop their talent and reach their full potential in Girona.  For two seasons now, in addition to the six youth teams, the club has had a senior team that this year plays in LEB Plata under the command of Quim Costa.
