The team from Girona and the team from Lleida will meet for the first time in the second state division

Five days after the victory in Fontajau , the first team plays at home again this Wednesday, January 20 (6:45 p.m., Esport3). The opponent will be ICG Força Lleida, who they beat in the pre-season match  and in the final of the Catalan League LEB Or . “We didn’t think too much about what happened in the previous two games: it would be a mistake. We have to think about how we are now, us and them.” commented Carles Marco in the preview of the match . 

With a record of five wins and five losses, the next opponent poses a dynamic game, with agile and unbalanced players, with corpulent pieces in the interior and people with experience who give solidity in the important moments. “Their philosophy is clear: they play fast, they have a lot of points in their hands and a lot of physicality in certain players who can play in several positions at the same time. This can create problems for you both in attack and defense,” explained Marco.
