After the second place obtained on the last day, the team from Girona starts as third place in this group A1 of LEB Plata with a record of six wins and four losses. On the other hand, Basket Navarra, despite being the most regular team in the West group – it finished as leader -, will start with a balance of four wins and six defeats by losing several games with direct rivals who are also part of this group of ‘ascension

However, the team from Navarre is very reliable in the Polideportivo Arrosadía where they have only lost three games in the whole season and play to high scores (76.8 on average) which will require good percentages of success from the Girona side. In addition, those from Iruña come in a very positive dynamic, since they have won eight of the last nine games of the first phase.

The Navarrese are one of the most experienced teams, both for the years they have been in the category – the third in a row – and for the extensive career of their squad – eight of the eleven players have spent two or more seasons at Leb Plata – where, above all, ex-ACB Edu Hernández Sonseca stands out who, despite his 35 years, is putting up a lot of good numbers (14’6 points, 9’1 rebounds and 21’5 average rating).
