The start of the match was energetic, with great plays by the Salva Camps men who showed their desire to make their debut in front of their fans. The team, however, was unable to maintain the favorable score of the first half (24-15) and Rasta Vechta felt more comfortable, reaching the break with a 36-41.

In the second half, the forces were even: after a very good half by Básquet Girona (59-61 in the third quarter), the team went the extra mile and managed to finish the first test with good feelings, leading the game by 85-79.
